A free Beach Bus is expected to launch THIS Saturday, June 20, running between Atlas Tube Recreation Centre and Lakeview Park West Beach from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This pilot project came out of a real need. After Windsor’s Sandpoint Beach closed in 2025, Lakeview Park West Beach saw a massive jump in visitors, and the surrounding neighbourhoods felt it with overcrowding, traffic, and parking pressure. The Municipality of Lakeshore heard the community and responded. The shuttle is expected to run every weekend plus holiday Mondays right through to September 7. Free. No car needed.
