Four years. That’s how long it’s been since I walked into a gym. Four years of two jobs, life pulling me in every direction, and honestly, myself coming last on the priority list. Today, my two daughters basically dragged me to a local gym. I had cold feet. I walked in feeling insecure, feeling weak, wondering if my body could even do this anymore. But standing there in that moment, something clicked. I realized I’m not doing this for vanity or some Instagram moment. I’m doing this because my family needs me healthy. Because I need to be here for my kids, mentally sharp, physically strong, for as long as I can be. And you know what? It felt incredible to be back. One workout doesn’t change everything. I know that. But tonight I signed up at a national gym, and I made a commitment to myself that I’m keeping. Tomorrow morning, I’m setting my alarm for five o’clock.
