This August, our local real estate market reflected both opportunity and challenge for families thinking about buying or selling. Across Windsor, Essex County, and Chatham Ontario, 1,124 homes were listed, while 429 sold on the MLS. The average sale price hovered around $567,000. Meanwhile, 91 homes expired and 515 listings were canceled, reminding sellers to price homes wisely and showcase them in top condition.
Condos followed similar trends—103 listed, 27 sold, with average prices near $350,000, and typical sale times stretching to 37 days. Understanding these numbers helps buyers and sellers make smarter choices before entering negotiations.
